How to Become a Central Columbia Volunteer

Welcome!

We are pleased that you are interested in becoming part of our Bluejay Team!  

The Central Columbia School District utilizes an electronic application process for individuals interested in becoming a volunteer.  Potential Volunteers are required to submit their application in PDF format via email to Rosey Tretter, Executive Secretary to the Superintendent, at rtretter@ccsd.cc.

In order for you to become an active volunteer, you will need to email the following materials:

  • Central Columbia Volunteer Application (for editable application, click here)
  • Act 34 (State Police) Clearance (copy)
  • Central Columbia Volunteer Affidavit (for volunteers who have resided in PA for at least the past ten (10) years)  (for editable form, click hereor 
  • Act 114 (FBI Fingerprinting) Clearance (copy of unofficial report or UEID Registration Code) - this is for volunteers who have resided in PA for LESS than ten (10) years
  • Act 151 (Child Abuse) Clearance (copy)
  • Act 126 Mandated Reporter Course Certificate
  • Tuberculosis Test Results (cannot be more than one (1) year old) - only required for volunteers who will be in direct contact with children more than ten (10) hours/week.
  • Photo - please submit a "selfie" style photo with your application.  This will be used to create your badge.

Please note that you will become an active volunteer when we have received ALL of the completed items listed above.

Please allow at least ten (10) business days for your volunteer application to be processed.  Once your application has been processed and your badge has been made, you will be notified by email where you can pick up your badge.
