Central Columbia will be conducting a test of its BLUEJAY ALERT automated calling messaging system on Thursday, November 9th starting at 5 PM.
The BLUEJAY ALERT system is used to call student homes, district staff and others in the event of an emergency, school delay, cancellation, or early dismissal. The purpose of the test is for you to verify that you are receiving the ALERT calls and to determine what phone number or numbers you want to be called.
If you receive the Bluejay Alert message and want to continue to receive it, the test was a success. You have to do nothing.
If you receive the Bluejay Alert message and DO NOT want to continue to receive them, you can OPT OUT of any further calls at the end of the telephone call by following the touch-tone prompts.
If you DID NOT receive the call and you're a parent or guardian of a student, use the Bluejay Alert web page to edit/add the telephone number the district has on record for your student(s) household telephone number (can be a cell phone number).
If you wish to add additional phone numbers for the Bluejay Alert system to call, please use the Bluejay Alert web page to add the telephone numbers.
