Mrs. Kristina Unger
Elementary School Guidance Counselor
Ms. Luxardo graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1993. She earned a
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bloomsburg University in 1998. In
2002, she earned a Masters in Education (Elementary and Secondary School
Counseling) from Suffolk University located in Boston, Massachusetts. While
working toward her Masters degree, she studied abroad under New York University
with a concentration in child development. Upon returning to the area, Ms.
Luxardo worked at Shamokin Area School District as a secondary guidance
counselor. In 2004, she received Certification in school psychology from
Bucknell University and continued working at Shamokin Area as a school
psychologist until 2006 when she joined the team at Central Columbia Elementary
School.
