Introduction
To graduate from Central Columbia High School requires the completion of a satisfactory Graduation Project consisting of the development of an Individualized Career Plan with no fewer than 24 units of study (credits). Additional minimum subject area requirements in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 are as follows:

Requirements for College Prep Curriculum
- Four (4) credits in mathematics including Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry.
- Four (4) credits in science including Physics or Physical Science, Biology I, and Chemistry.
- Four (4) credits in language arts including Intro to Communications, Intro to Literature, American Literature, and World Literature.
- Four (4) credits in Social Sciences including American History 1877-1945, Modern American History, and World Cultures.
- Two (2) credits in a foreign language.
- 1.75 credits in health and physical education.
- Introduction to Technology.
- Consumer Economics.
- Humanities.

The program may be accelerated by including Honors courses, Advanced Placement courses, and courses completed while in the middle school. Honors courses are available in English, the foreign languages, and Science. AP Calculus AB, AP English, AP Biology, and AP American History are also offered.

Requirements for Career Prep Curriculum
-
Four (4) credits in mathematics.
- Three (3) credits in science.
- Four (4) credits in language arts including Career Prep English and Applied Communications.
- 3.0 credits in the Social Sciences.
- 1.75 credits in health and physical education.
- Introduction to Technology.
- Consumer Economics.
- Humanities.
- 6.1 Writing credits.
- Five credits in a cluster.
