It's been a busy year for FBLA. In the fall of 2009 our
chapter’s officers attended the National Fall Leadership Conference. It was
a great two days filled with educational workshops in a new kind of learning
environment.
Some of the workshops included The Climb for Success:,
Personal Money Management, How to Get “Yes” vs. “No”, Tips to Increase
Employability, The Stock Market, the March of Dimes, Effective
Communication, Workplace Skills for the Business World, Résumé Workshop.
While in Baltimore, we were able to take an
educational trip to the famous Baltimore Aquarium. Most of our officers had
never had the chance to visit an aquarium, especially one of this high
ranking. The whole trip was a very enlightening experience and it got our
officers motivated for a new year of leadership.
