Central Columbia School District announces centralized district and building news, news archive and push notifications via the district’s web site.  As a result of the district’s communication strategic plan, Central Columbia has updated how the district’s news and information is posted on the district’s web site. In addition we are adding a new notification service, Bluejay Notify.

Each district home page includes NEWS and ARCHIVE categories. All the district news is posted on the district home page, DISTRICT NEWS category. The district home page also includes a PUBLIC NOTICE category that includes all meeting notices, job postings, bid postings and other official public notices. Each school building will post their specific NEWS and information on their individual building home page. Anyone can sign up for a specific notification when information is posted, using Bluejay Notify.

Bluejay Notify is a new communication service offered by Central Columbia to our community. When you sign up for Bluejay Notify you decide to receive a notification email, SMS text message, or both. When the selected news item or alert is posted, you will receive the notification. You can sign up for Bluejay Notify on any Central Columbia School District home page.

The   BluejayNotify  link will connect you to the Subscribe/Unsubscribe to News and Bluejay Notifications web page.

Anyone can sign up for the following Bluejay Notify messages:
DISTRICT ALERT (Emergency or School Closing)
DISTRICT NEWS (All news from Schools, Buildings, Athletics, Notices, NOT ALERTS)
DISTRICT OFFICE AND PUBLIC NOTICE (Posted District Office news and Public Notice ONLY)
HIGH SCHOOL NEWS (Posted High School News ONLY)
ATHLETIC OFFICE NEWS (Posted Athletic Office News ONLY)
MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS (Posted Middle School News ONLY)
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEWS (Posted Elementary School News ONLY)
