On Monday, January 9, 2012 the Central Columbia FFA attended the 2012 Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. While at the Farm Show, the students participated in numerous workshops, visited numerous agricultural/environmental displays and explored various career pathway opportunities.  The Central Columbia FFA Officer Team of Logan Karchner, Matt Hackenberg, Tyler Johnson, Andy Barone, Aaron Johnson, Jared Oman, Eric McCracken and Cody Bowman along with FFA Advisors Doug Brown and Curt Turner, assisted at Folk's Butterfly Farm exhibit. In this exhibit, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the life cycle of butterflies and their importance as a pollinator.
