Central Columbia Ag Teachers Honored at Farm Show/Mid-WInter Convention


On Monday, January 6, 2020; Central Columbia's Agricultural/Environmental Science Instructors Mr. Doug Brown and Mr. Curt Turner were honored by Penn State University, the Pennsylvania FFA Association and Center for Professional Development with the Teach Ag Family Tree Award.  This award recognizes the years of service, students from the program who have or are teaching agriculture, the student teachers the instructor has mentored, the instructor's home high school and Agriculture Instructor and lastly the instructor's student teaching cooperating center and the instructor's cooperating teacher.  Mr. Brown (29 years) and Mr. Turner (22 years) have a combined 51 years of service to agricultural education in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Congratulations!
