Mrs. Unger graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1993. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bloomsburg University in 1998. In 2002, she earned a Masters in Education (Elementary and Secondary School Counseling) from Suffolk University located in Boston, Massachusetts. While working toward her Masters degree, she studied abroad under New York University with a concentration in child development. Upon returning to the area, Mrs. Unger worked at Shamokin Area School District as a secondary school counselor. In 2004, she received Certification in school psychology from Bucknell University and continued working at Shamokin Area as a school psychologist until 2006 when she joined the team at Central Columbia Elementary School.

Ms. Flick is a former Central Columbia graduate and a 2008 graduate of Bloomsburg University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.  She continued her education at Marywood University, earning her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2010. Ms. Flick is currently employed by CMSU as a Prevention Specialist and has been contracted at Central Columbia School District since 2011.  Ms. Flick provides prevention services to Central Columbia students in grades K-12, and helps to link families to resources within the community.  Ms. Flick also serves on the SAP team in the Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.

Mental Health Counselor

Mr. Tloczynski graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2015 with a dual Bachelors Degree in psychology and History. He received his Masters of Education Degree in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling Psychology from Penn State University in 2019, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. Mr. Tloczynski previously worked for Penn State University's Psychological Clinic and CEDAR Clinic as a Staff Therapist, and for Penn State's NCAA Morgan Academic Center as an Academic and Social-Emotional Mentor for student athletes. Most recently, Mr. Tloczynski worked as a Pediatric Psychology Specialist for Geisinger Medical Center's Primary Care Behavioral Health department at Woodbine Health Complex. He became Central Columbia's district-wide Mental Health Counselor during the 2022-2023 school year.
