On Monday, September 8, 2025, athletes, coaches, administration, and family members of the Central Columbia Girls Track and Field Team traveled to Harrisburg by invitation by Senator Lynda Culver and Representative Robert Leadbeter's offices to be recognized for capturing four consecutive 4 x 400 meter relay PIAA championships (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025). All in attendance toured the capitol building with Representative Leadbeter as well as Capitol tour guides, visited the House of Representatives and then were recognized during the Senate Session at 1 pm.
