On Thursday, October 23, 2025, The Espy Fire Company volunteered their services to instruct the Central Columbia Agricultural Science I students on many aspects of fire safety. This event is held in October seeing that each year October is Fire Safety month. Students were instructed by members of the Espy Fire Company on the proper use of self contained breathing apparatus, battery powered tool operation used in rescues, proper fire extinguisher use, and were provided information about the operations at the fire house as well as how to become a member of their local fire company. This event is held in conjunction with the General Shop Safety Unit in Ag Science I.
