Brynn Karnes, president of the Central Columbia FFA Chapter, recently toured Balmer Brothers Dairy Farm and Chocolate World as part of her role with the Pennsylvania Farm Show Junior Committee.
At Balmer Brothers, Karnes and her peers learned about dairy production and sustainable practices. The visit to Chocolate World offered an engaging look at chocolate-making processes and the industry’s local significance.
The day wrapped up at the Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association’s (CATRA) CATRA-Thon, where attendees met beautiful horses and enjoyed a delicious chicken BBQ.
