The Pennsylvania Farm Bureau held its annual conference over the past three days at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. During their annual awards ceremony celebrating the PA Farm Bureau's Diamond Anniversary, the bureau awarded numerous awards during this event. Mr. Douglas G. Brown, Agricultural/Environmental Science Instructor and FFA Advisor was awarded the most coveted award and that being the Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award. Mr. Brown was selected through an application process in which committee members were looking for items that assisted in promoting the agricultural industry within the state borders and promoting the ideals of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. Congratulations to Mr. Douglas G. Brown and the Central Columbia Agricultural Science Program for this highest recognition.
