HAPPENINGS IN CCMS ART:

Fall Window Painting:

7th and 8th grade students in the “Art in Our School and Community” elective classes painted Halloween or Fall-inspired paintings on Downtown Bloomsburg storefronts.  Students worked in pairs which included 7th graders Dolce Ku and Khloe Suda, Vaida Smith and Loralye Troup, Karsyn Hack and Meret Lambert, Emma Endress and Sophia Laubach, Lillian Flick and Taylor Crawford, as well as 8th graders, Elizabeth Clark and Gwendolyn Whitenight, Aurelia Lapos and Tinsley Belles, Lily Crispell and Alexus Thompson, Annie Kehres and Gabby Force, Addison Steward and Aleigha Lower and Emma Fairchild and Madalyn Kramer.

We competed against area middle schools and took 1st place this year!  Great job everyone!

Special thanks to The Exchange Gallery for organizing the event.

CCMS Student Art at the Exchange Gallery!

7th and 8th grade students in the Art in Our School and Community class currently have 40+ artworks on display at the Exchange Gallery in Bloomsburg.  Their work is part of the annual “Cash and Carry” exhibit which showcases local artists of all ages from the community.  As an added bonus, the art can be purchased beginning Friday, December 5th.  They make great holiday gifts!

The show runs through January 2nd.  For more information, visit ExchangeArts.org.
